We began today in Vroenhoven, Belgium. We took this picture while waiting for the bus to Maastricht--the first leg of the first day of our trip. We have waited about 8 years to take this picture!!!
2 buses and 2 trains later, we made it to Berlin, Germany. We were able to live stream the Germany-Italy Euro Cup game while we were in the train. A lot of people were watching it live, but apparently our feed was one of the best because 2 conductors stopped to watch along with us.
It's been a long, exciting day (and we are still watching the Germany-Italy game...they're in a shoot out as I type this), so we're headed to bed soon. Tomorrow we will explore Berlin!
